I work rotating shifts. When do we actually talk?

Evenings, mostly. The booking calendar runs later slots specifically so you're not using a break to have this conversation. Pick whatever suits - if nothing fits your roster, message me and we'll find a time that does.

$15,000 plus GST, in two parts: a $4,000 + GST retainer to begin the search, and an $11,000 + GST success fee payable when your purchase is secured. It's a fixed fee, not a percentage of the purchase price - so there is no incentive for me to push you into a more expensive property. You know the full cost before we start.

Do I need finance approved before we start?

Not approved, but you do need a clear picture - and for healthcare income that conversation is worth having properly. Before the strategy call, speak to a broker who understands salary packaging, penalty rates and shift allowances. If you don't have one, I'll introduce you at no cost and no obligation. This single step is the difference between a search that ends in a settlement and one that stalls after the contract.

Do I have to attend inspections?

No. I inspect on your behalf and send video walkthroughs with a written assessment, so you can make the call from home after a shift rather than spending a rostered day off driving to opens. If you want to see a property before contract, we'll arrange it around your roster.

How long until I've bought something?

Most engagements run from strategy call to signed contract in weeks rather than months, but it depends on your brief and on stock. A tightly defined search in an active market moves fast; a narrow brief in a thin market takes longer. I'd rather wait for the right asset than fill a deadline with the wrong one.

I'm on a public health salary. Is $15,000 worth it?

That's the right question to ask. Overpaying by 3% on a $700,000 purchase is $21,000 - more than the fee, on one transaction. Buying in the wrong location costs considerably more over a decade. If after the strategy call you'd rather run the search yourself, the buying brief is yours to keep and I'll tell you honestly whether you need me.

Am I dealing with you, or with staff?

Me. Haus Haven is deliberately small - I take on a limited number of clients at a time so every search, inspection and negotiation is run by the person who built the framework. When that capacity is full, I say so rather than stretching thin.

Haus Haven Property Advisory ("we", "us", "our") is the trading name of the trustee for the Haus Haven Property Advisory Trust (ABN 68 768 436 007). The trustee company's ACN is 695 488 692. We are a buyers agency helping Australians buy investment and owner occupied property. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and how you can access or correct it.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).

1. If you contact us through Facebook or Instagram, we will contact you

This is the most important part of this policy, so we have put it first.

When you submit your details through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, a Meta ad, a direct message, or a form on our website, you are asking us to get in touch. By submitting your details you consent to Haus Haven Property Advisory contacting you by:

We will use these channels to respond to your enquiry, book a call, send you information you asked for (such as a guide or calculator result), and follow up about our buyers agency services.

This consent applies even if your number is listed on the Do Not Call Register, because you have asked us to contact you.

You can withdraw this consent at any time. Reply STOP to any SMS, click unsubscribe in any email, or tell us on a call or by email that you no longer want to hear from us. We will stop within 5 business days.

2. What personal information we collect

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

Contact details: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, state and postcode.
Work details: your occupation, the sector you work in (for example nursing, sonography, radiography, paramedicine, midwifery, medicine or allied health) and your work pattern.
Financial and property goals: your budget, deposit, income range, borrowing capacity, existing properties, investment goals, timeframes and preferred locations.
Calculator and form inputs: anything you enter into our property portfolio calculator, quizzes or enquiry forms.
Social media information: when you submit a Meta lead form, Meta passes us the answers you give on that form and details from your profile that the form prefills, such as your name, email and phone number.
Client information: if you engage us, identity details needed for the engagement, contract details, and records of properties we assess, inspect or negotiate for you.
Communications: records of calls, emails, SMS and messages between us.
Website and advertising data: your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, how you arrived at our site, and how you interact with our ads (see section 8).

We do not need your health information. Please do not send us details about your health, even though many of our clients work in healthcare.

You can deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym for general questions. We will need your real name and contact details to provide our services.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you:

submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form or respond to one of our ads
message us on Facebook or Instagram
fill in a form, book a call or use the calculator on our website
speak with us by phone, email, video call or in person, including at open homes
engage us as a client

We may also collect it from third parties with your knowledge, such as a mortgage broker, financial adviser, friend or family member who refers you to us, or Meta when you use a lead form.

4. How we use it

We use your personal information to:

respond to your enquiry and contact you as described in section 1
assess whether our services suit you and prepare a strategy
search for, assess, inspect and negotiate on property for you
manage our client relationship, contracts and invoicing
send you property insights, market updates and offers related to our services (you can opt out at any time)
refer you to trusted professionals you ask to be introduced to
show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram and measure how our ads perform
improve our website, content and services
meet our legal and regulatory obligations

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

Mortgage brokers and finance professionals we refer you to, only with your agreement.
Other property professionals involved in your purchase, such as selling agents, conveyancers, solicitors, building and pest inspectors, property managers, quantity surveyors and accountants.
Licensed buyers agents in other states who inspect properties on our behalf when you are buying outside Queensland.
Service providers who help us run the business, including our CRM and messaging platform (GoHighLevel), our website host (Squarespace), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), email, calendar and file storage providers.
Government bodies, regulators or courts where the law requires it.

Anyone we share information with is expected to handle it for the purpose it was provided.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store data outside Australia. This means your information is likely to be held or processed in the United States and may be held in other countries where those providers operate. We take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate security and privacy practices.

7. Marketing

We may send you marketing by email or SMS where you have consented or where it relates to an enquiry you made. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and every marketing SMS lets you reply STOP. Every message identifies us as the sender.

8. Cookies, Meta Pixel and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel and analytics services. These collect information about how you use our site so we can:

understand which pages and ads are useful
show our ads to people who have visited our site or engaged with our content
measure how many enquiries our ads produce

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Some parts of our site may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

Our website may include embedded content (such as videos or social media posts) and links to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may collect data about you. We are not responsible for their practices.

9. How we store and protect it

We store personal information in secure, password protected cloud systems. Access is limited to people who need it to do their work. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. After that, we securely delete or de identify it.

If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where the law requires.

10. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email us with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on our website with the date it was last updated.
